A Letter From Our Pastors

Dear Church Family,

What an honor it is to be writing to you on our 10th annual Heart for the House. We are so humbled by the last 10 years and what Activate Church has become. You truly are our family. We’ve spent countless hours worshipping together, praying for revival and reading God’s word. We’ve carried each other through loss and heartache as well as mountain tops and blessing. You’ve become our best friends and you’ve become our family. Where would we be without the precious House of God, and all of you?

Through hours of prayer and being on our face before God we have both sensed the urgency and call to press in even more to what God has for Activate Church. We truly believe that God had all of us in mind when He wrote up the plan for the Pacific Northwest in this hour. We are allowing God to stretch us in our vision and to continue to believe for more of an outpouring of His Holy Spirit like this city has never seen. There is not a doubt in our mind that God has big things in store for this region. The most unchurched region in America needs healthy, thriving, spirit filled praying churches to reach the lost, and we are saying “YES!” in every way possible. We are praying harder, listening for His voice longer and asking for wisdom as we strategize and put teams together these next few years as we believe for a permanent location/facility for Activate Church.

Thank you for believing with us, for investing in our church and for asking God to speak to you in this season. We are so grateful for all of you and are expectant for what God is going to do in our church in the years to come. We are excited for the next few decades as we raise our children and grandchildren together in the House that He has used us to build. Let’s believe God for a legacy building, a legacy piece of property in the heart of the city that we can call home for generations to come!

We love you all, and are so thankful that God has grafted us and woven us together for such a time as this! We leave you with this verse from The Message Bible:

Ephesians 2:19-22
“That's plain enough, isn't it? You're no longer wandering exiles. This kingdom of faith is now your home country. You're no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian as anyone. God is building a home. He's using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he's using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.”
